Additional Costs to Consider

Uniforms

All players are required to purchase uniforms including home and away game kits, warm-up gear, and practice uniforms. Cost is approximately $185 plus tax (2026 is a uniform purchase year).

Travel & Tournaments

Travel expenses are managed by individual teams. Teams typically enter 2-5 tournaments per year. Costs vary by team and destination. Personal travel to regional/national events should be expected.

What Registration Fees Cover

Registration fees support a wide range of club operations that make the player experience possible. This includes administration, coaching leadership and coach support, field rentals and maintenance, equipment, referee fees, league fees, and insurance.

Fees also cover membership and participation costs across leagues and governing bodies, including ECNL, WYS, RCL, WPL, and US Club Soccer. In addition, registration supports required staff background checks, compliance, and other essential operational expenses.

As a nonprofit organization, all registration revenue is reinvested back into the club to sustain operations and continue improving programs and opportunities for players.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

WFA is committed to working to find pathways so that financial circumstances do not prevent participation. Limited financial assistance is available to help offset club registration fees for players participating on U9–U19 teams.
