Financial Aid & Scholarships
WFA is committed to working to find pathways so that financial circumstances do not prevent participation. Limited financial assistance is available to help offset club registration fees for players participating on U6–U19 teams.
Team selection is based on player evaluation — not financial need.
Standard Assistance
Families who meet the Federal School Lunch Program income guidelines may be eligible for:
After registration and scholarship approval, a 20% reduction in club registration fees will be applied to the future payment schedule or as a reimbursement if full fee is paid upfront.
Eligibility is based on household size and annual adjusted gross income.

What Assistance Covers
- Applies to club registration fees
- Additional team-related costs (uniforms, travel, tournaments) are separate
- Families are responsible for any remaining balance
Participation Expectations
Players receiving assistance are expected to:
- Participate fully in team activities (training, games, tournaments)
- Be a positive teammate
Families receiving scholarships are required to support the club through:
- 4–8 volunteer hours per registration year (tournaments, events, field support)

How to Apply
After team selection and initial registration, complete the online Financial Aid/Scholarship Application and submit:
- Most recent IRS Form 1040
- Online attestation form (part of this application)
Incomplete applications may not be considered.
